Hi! I wasn’t expecting to be visible quite so soon! Thank you for your kind notes of encouragement. This is a new and exciting experience that I’m still learning to navigate. I have never used WordPress before or made a website, so please bear with me for a moment while I navigate the how-to. This blog is a work in progress, and so far, I’m just a baby.
On the writing front, I do have a concept I’m playing with. I’ve started creating and fleshing out characters, the folklore, and have a general outline to start the writing process. I can’t wait to share with you! This first story I’m working on is going to be a paranormal shifter romance. I’m leaning towards a slow-burn romance in a fantasy world setting. We have wolf shifters, vengeful gods, a curse, and spicy scenes. I have the first chapter in the works, so I will hopefully be posting that sometime later this week. As I mentioned before, I’m a mom, and life is never boring here. I know this isn’t necessarily a mom blog, but gotta share a little bit of my daily life. I know one day I will miss the good old days when my babies are little, but currently, my 5 year old is not letting us sleep. She gets up every night, around 3 AM, either to go pee or to snuggle. The snuggles are nice, except she is definitely a starfish and takes up the entire middle of the bed, leaving my husband and I clinging for our lives on the edges. Not very conducive to a well-rested night. She insists on my husband or I go with her to the restroom if she needs to pee. Out of nowhere, she has developed an intense fear of any kind of bug. The bathroom is near the back door that has an open dog door for the pups to go out when they need to, and we do get the occasional creepy crawly or moths that make their way in. Since there were a small handful of times she encountered a bug while going to the bathroom, she will not go by herself anymore. Not really sure what to do, but open to advice! Mama is TIRED!
